Merida - Part of our Europe 2005 trip One of my favorites, we spent a couple of days here during a very hot weather period and I loved it! Needless to say, no one else felt the same (about the heat, that is). They have some of the most marvelous Roman Ruins here as well as a bridge built by the Romans that is still in use.
